Preps fundraising for East Timor

Both Prep classes presented a short rhyme at Assembly yesterday, concerning their fund raising efforts for East Timor. They have been collecting pencils to send to the Josephites mission. This is now open to the entire school. A list of items is in each classroom.

Week 7

News of the Week

This will be a new segment that will shown each week at our Monday assembly. It will include snippets of interesting work that is being undertaken in classrooms and a teacher of the week award, where we will highlight the great work being undertaken by a teacher at St. Joseph's.

Choir

Our school choir competed at the Logan Entertainment Centre last week . They competed against 9 other schools to take out second place.

They sang beautifully , under the direction of music teacher Mrs Haran. Unfortunately, their pianist was unwell and was unable to attend, so another teacher from a local school stepped in to play for them.

On Thursday our school band also competed at the same venue and came second.

Well done to both groups.

Busy Term 3

This term has seen our athletes competing in the District Carnival for division C. With the enthusiasm and talent of our competitors we managed to bring the 1st place trophy back to school.

Well done to all !
